Staying consistent with Seed Cycling

Staying consistent with Seed Cycling

One of the most common challenges of seed cycling is staying consistent. And consistency is essential to get the best results. It's easy to let life get in the way and fall off the wagon of taking your daily dose. We've all been there - myself included.

But how do we stay on track to get the most out of our seed cycling ritual?

Let's understand why we fall off the seed cycling wagon in the first place and what we can do about.

'Why have I skipped my seed cycling ritual?'

It hasn't become a habit yet

When we're creating a new habit - it's not going to feel natural or easy to take your Seed Cycle Blend every day. We have to exercise our will power which is the ability to control impulses, emotions, and behaviours in order to achieve long-term goals. So really, the work starts in the mind and having a great incentive. Ask yourself 'why do you want to seed cycle?' and 'what would be the benefit of consistent seed cycling?'. For me initially it was balancing hormones to end my period pain and menstrual symptoms. And more recently it's to improve fertility for when I choose to get pregnant.

I'm so excited to be releasing a world first seed cycling tracker to be your personalised seed cycling companion. Confirm your daily dose in the tracker along side your menstrual phase events or the moon phases, get celebrated when you're consistent and reminded when you're not. It's the perfect way to fast track your seed cycling habit and build that connection with your cycle. Join the waitlist here to be the first to access the app.

I don't know how to take it

When you're a health conscious girlie you're likely to have all sorts of powders and potions to take each day. And I get - it can feel like one extra chore to think about how to incorporate your Seed Cycle Blend. But it doesn't need to be complicated.

Firstly, Seed Cycle Blend contains ground seeds which can be added to almost anything you're already eating.

And how you take it can be as simple or as complex as you like eg:

  • 2 Tbsp in a glass of lemon water
  • 2 Tbsp in a smoothie
  • 2 Tbsp on top of scrambled eggs
  • 2 Tbsp on top of bolognese

OR pick a recipe

Note: these recipes are also great to make if you have some Seed Cycle Blend left over.

I'm travelling or moving around

This one can be tricky but, only requires a little bit of prep or great traveling storage. We also have options to ship internationally to a new address temporarily (completely free) if you have a subscription, email us if you have questions about this option.

If travelling short-term I will make the bliss balls from our recipe book or seed cycling protein bars with whatever phase I'm in or will be in. Otherwise I transfer my blends into travel containers or jars so they are secure in transit.

I don't have symptoms anymore so I don't take it as often

This is a trap and I've been there when I first trailed the seed cycling method. The reality is (like anything e.g skincare, exercise, sleep) if you start to skip too many seed cycling doses your body will stop gaining the nutrients your hormones need to regulate your cycle. And your symptoms may come back. The point of ending menstrual symptoms for good or having a healthy cycle is that you don't just take a supplement but you change your lifestyle. You decide that your cycle needs regular nourishment if you want to experience pain-free, predictable cycles.

There are many other reasons why we might skip our seed cycling ritual - but the important thing is you can always come back to it. And if you ever need support I'm here to chat, anytime.

I'm really looking forward to launching our app for you to have a personalised seed cycling companion. Don't forget to join the waitlist here to be the first to get access.

Take care,
